Interested in joining lawsuit. We asked for a printed contract and were denied it. I tried booking several times and couldnt get the dates and places we wanted to go. My phone changed my word. Add me. The lady talked me into going the next day so I could get the free stay points. Please add me to the Lawsuit list. I had the same issues with them telling me I could sell my timeshare whenever I wanted and that it would only gain value in the future because its just like owning a piece of real estate, Please, I would like to be added as well. I have called Wyndham repeatedly and they claim there is absolutely nothing they can do for me until my entire loan is paid off. Have we been lied to? We have called them and they said they would buy it back for $1700 dollars but it might take a year or so to sell it and we would have to continue to pay until it is sold. We gave up, We mortgaged two houses that were paid off, used that money to pay off the mortgage to Wyndham then sold a $195,000 investment for 6k to be done with it. But 2 years later and Ive not received any help and Im ready to join a lawsuit against both Wyndham Vacation Resorts AND Reed Hein Timeshare Exit Team!! Ive been through a number of these high pressure sales pitches that are nearly impossible to escape. He looked me in tbe eye and said, I promise you that you will receive a paper check in the mail for that amount and maybe a little more.. Wanting to join the Class action. Service guides are welcomed and were told no issues in the timeshare, the first time we went to stay at the time share we got thrown out by the GM she called herself, embarrassed in front of an entire lobby of people and we were owners. For many years consumers were not successful in their lawsuits against timeshare companies because of the expertise and ability of these companies to find loopholes around consumer law to protect their less than honest sales pitches. Dont believe them they are allowed to lie!!! I bought my first shares in 1989 and was continuously told over the subsequent years that I had to by more and more to get the full value of the continuously changing benefits and point requirements. We bought in Bonnett Creek (Orlando, FL) when it was being developed. Too many variations with how to even sign up for a vacation. Now I have 2 purchasesone for points, but its all worthless. When I spoke with RCI they said the only thing I was saving was points but if I didnt use the coupon their fee was actually less. What they did was stole our paid off timeshare by attaching it to a whole new one. not to mention 5000 she paid. Hundreds of plaintiffs have filed a proposed class action alleging Westgate Resorts, Ltd. and a number of related entities wield high-pressure tactics to dupe prospective timeshare buyers into signing contracts without disclosing legally mandatory information or even allowing access to the properties. Does any of this sound familiar? why do they not do this ??? they told me I was buying something other than what I purchased. Twice I have not been with her and twice they have pressured and basically lied to her into purchasing more points.
