The annual banquet to recognize all of CCSDs school Teachers of the Year and to announce the overall winner is usually held in the fall. It is true that the Woodstock festival fell between those dates - it took place in August 1969 at a dairy farm in upstate New York. As the initial forecast called us to brace for a 14% cut and a $32 Million loss for our School District, we are grateful for the 3% difference now projected by the Governor.
