He retired from Odessa-Montour School after 14 years of service and was a 25-year employee of Jeffs Septic Inc. Thumbsy was a member of the Mechanics Club and Montour Moose Club and a past member of both the Montour Falls Fire Dept. She is survived by her brother, Harry (Gen) Goossen of Montour Falls; two nephews, Ronald (Rhonda) Goossen and Lyle (Rachel) Goossen; niece, Debbie (Ted) Pipe; and by several great nieces and great nephews. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 16 at her sons home at 5837 County Rt. She worked at Cargill Salt Company and at US Salt Company in Watkins Glen for several years.
