Congratulations on a successful 1st FO-SOS conference for 2023.
The 1st FO-SOS Conference of the year triumphantly concluded last August 17, 2023, in Pandan, Antique. This FO-SOS Conference made stride with the consolidation of reports and updates, setting for an inspiring journey ahead.
The FO-SOS representatives also finalized the action plans of the Sites of Struggles for the coming months. Furthermore, a statement – drafted in collaboration with the conference participants – highlights renewable energy, climate change, mining, and other extractives and their impacts on the country and SOS communities.
Lastly, the participants also received updates on the Rights of Nature PH and PMPI network initiatives from the national secretariat.
PMPI would like to thank and congratulate all the representatives from the PMPI FO-SOS partners for creating a supportive environment for experiences, learning, and knowledge exchanges.
