PMPI in partnership with Disaster Risk Reduction Network Philippines (DRRNet) successfully opened the 1st day of the Sphere Orientation session last July 24.

PMPI cluster partners from Northern Luzon, NCR National, Central Luzon, Bicol, Panay, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, CABUSTAM (Cagayan de Oro, Butuan, Surigao, Tandag, Malaybalay) Cluster, DOPIM (Dipolog, Ozamis, Pagadian, Iligan, Marawi) Cluster, KIDMACO (Kidapawan, Marbel, Cotabato) Cluster, DAVAO REGION (Davao, Digos, Tagum, Mati) Cluster, ZAMBASULI (Zamboanga, Basilan, Sulu, Ipil) Cluster attended the event.

Friends from CDRC – CITIZENS’ DISASTER RESPONSE CENTER (CDRC), CREST – Community Response for Enlightenment, Service and Transformation (CREST), LCDE – Leyte Center for Development (LCDE), CRRC – Children’s Rights Resource Center, SPACFI – Socio-Pastoral Action Center Foundation, Inc., ALAY MINDANAO, CORDISRDS – Cordillera Disaster Response and Development Services, STPRC – Southern Tagalog People’s Response Center, Inc, Center for Disaster Preparedness, Cebu-Bohol Relief and Rehabilitation Center, Inc. were also present.

Held at Norfil Foundation, the workshop aimed to empower CSOs with valuable insights into humanitarian principles, accountability, and quality standards to enhance their humanitarian response and make a meaningful impact in their community.
