PMPI National Coordinating Council members recently convened in the picturesque city of Davao to assess the current status of PMPI and chart a visionary path for its future. The agenda also included the planning stage for the upcoming 7th General Assembly of the network, scheduled for March 2024.

The event was more than just a meeting, it served as a joyful reunion of friends, partners, and colleagues from the development sector. Among the Davao Region Cluster present during the NCC kick-off were representatives from Yamog Renewable Energy Development Group, Inc., Managing Alternatives Group Inc (MAGI), Integrated Fund for Urban Services Development Foundation (INFUSED), Inc, Interface Development Interventions (IDIS) Inc, Adolescent Health Advocates Association, Inc (AHA), San Lorenzo Ruiz Socio-Economic Development Foundation (SALORSED), Davao Medical School Foundation Institute of Primary Health Care (DMSF-IPHC), Social Action Center – Diocese of MATI, and Nagkahiusang Kababayen-an sa Barangay Tacunan (NAGKABATA).

The PMPI Davao cluster graciously hosted the event, ensuring that attendees were treated to a memorable experience. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Malagos resort, the venue provided a serene and conducive environment for fruitful discussions. And to welcome the guests, the Pamulaan Alumni – Indigeneous People’s artists gave a captivating tribal dance performance and serenaded everyone with enchanting music, adding a touch of cultural richness to the occasion.

The NCC members will be utilizing this opportunity to engage in comprehensive deliberations, and assess PMPI’s current achievements, challenges, and opportunities. They will also be collaborating to shape a visionary path for the future of the organization, and aim to further enhance its impact and effectiveness in the development sector.
