PMPI Joins Fellow Civil Society Organizations on a Workshop at the Thematic Social Forum on Mining & the Extractivist Economy

This October 17, PMPI joins hands with fellow Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) for a crucial workshop at the Thematic Social Forum (TSF) on Mining & the Extractivist Economy 2023 in Semarang, Indonesia.

 

This global event unites voices from around the world to address the pressing issue of mining’s impact on our planet and discussions will revolve around exploring alternatives and finding solutions.

 

PMPI, with GARN, YLNM, RED MOSQUI, OMASNE, and Frente NAcional Antiminero, will be conducting a Rights of Nature workshop. This will constitute a vital component of the session and its discussions, highlighting the impact of extractive industries and the need to give nature its rights.
