Successful Culmination of the Season of Creation at the Maryknoll Ecological Sanctuary in Baguio: A Tribute to Nature’s Rights!
On October 5, a diverse group from different organizations, NGOs, private groups, POs, and DENR all gathered at the tranquil Maryknoll Ecological Sanctuary in Baguio to mark the triumphant conclusion of the Season of Creation. This remarkable event brought together various organizations to officially close the Season of Creation celebration.
The event not only celebrated the successful culmination of this meaningful season but also kickstarted an enlightening Rights of Nature (RoN) orientation. PMPI Deputy Coordinator Ms Candy Hidalgo delved into the beauty of nature’s rights, and how through the passage of the Rights of Nature bill can protect and sustain all of God’s creation for all generations to come.
The event commenced successfully as all participants acknowledged the importance of preserving our planet and resolved to commit to empowering themselves as dedicated stewards of nature’s rights.
